China is becoming a player on the world stage, and is strategically placing assets right in front of our eyes. What they they decide to do with their new strength will determine their fate and ours. They can use it for good, and become a superpower. They could use it to dominate the world stage and face off with us putting us both in an epuc struggle for survival. More than likely they will try to dominate their own respective region first as we did with the Monroe Doctrine.
There is a move for unity in Europe, but their differences are actually keeping them apart. They will play a huge role in China's moves because China fears a united West. India is becoming a world player also, and we are using them as a temporary buffer against Chinese placements. As the founders of modern democracy it is our duty to protect any democracy in distress. If China chooses to be peaceful we have no right to interfere with their growth as a power. If China chooses to try to weaken the hold of democracy in their region it is our duty and India's duty, and Australia's duty, and Japan, South Korea, England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Canada's duty as the worlds' modern democracies to keep the ideals of democracy alive.
