sorry guys for my absence, i'm currently on a temporary duty where access to a computer is limited. i'll be back full time on tuesday. one thing i want to talk about is US relations with Iran. I think that good relations with Iran is a solid step towards a true middle east peace process. Iran was initially very helpful to us in Afghanistan, and when we turned down some of their help we may have missed a good opportunity. we can have good relations with them, and still not agree with them on their stance against Israel. just something to think about.

Define, "get along with them."
If that means, "Order the shish kabob in a Persian restaurant," I'm down with it.
If it means they get to have a nuke, I dunno...

Well, as long as they just get the one nuclear bomb, don't want to be destroying the world several times over... which, um, we're capable of doing in the Western world already :S
