new allies

well, the webstormed congress has just informed me that it's time to reassess our list of allies. in order to maintain the highest levels of peace, communication, irrelevant postings, inappropriate pic posting, absurd factless comments, and friendship...I have devised a list a survey to ensure that all allies can be trusted. When webstormed needs help, we need to make sure our allies aren't too hung over all the time!

1) do you trust hippies?
2) john kerry or john mccain
3) if you don't who the people in number 2 are... ronald mcdonald or the KFC colonel
4) moderate, republican, democrat, or moron?
5) the braves rule. this isn't a question; rather a fact
6) freedom of speech or the New York time pretending it's using that freedom but actually trying to undermine the white house
7) who was to blame for the katrina disaster(not the post hurricane response)
8) which American icon do you like better jefferson or hamilton
9) if you didn't understand #8... who do you like better france or england
10) if you didn't undertand # 9 either... do you prefer being a pussy or a sophisticated ass kicker
11) should barry bonds be given credit if he breaks the record?
12) gay marraige, for or against it
13) what do you think of the webstormed monkeys? please look at the pic below before answering this.

another pro amnesty person being wrong

Well i read an article on CNN.com from an writer in San Diego who doesn't understand why people think he leans left on his immigration stance. He tried to clearify it by saying that he believes Americans are racist against immigrants, that they're scraed that the immigrants are gonna take over the culture, and that Americans are hypocrits. Wow! He sure did clearify that shit! He doesn't lean left, he's a freakin moderate liberal who needs to get a good old reality check. If you want to read it Click Here. I tracked his email down and sent this to him....enjoy....

Sir,
I read your article on CNN, and you question why some say you're left leaning. Then you try to explain where the misinterpretation is, but your explanation only further characterizes your stance as 'left leaning.' You say that there is racism involved in this immigration debate. While there is some, to small degree, you can't sit here and tell me that Joe America in Smallville, USA is racist. Joe is concerned about such a large number of undocumented people in his country. He concerned that his tax dollars are contributing to tens of billions of dollars for services and infrastructure for a population that mostly doesn't pay taxes(federal and state income), he does understand that they contribute to the economy. Most statistics, even thoughs shown on CNN just yesterday, shows that the tax dollars out number the contribution, and will only get worse. You can accuse Joe of being racist and afraid of 'Latinazation' all day, but when it comes down to it Joe wants done what should have been done. Why does the amnesty group overlook the violation of law? When a person's first act in America is breaking the law, i don't believe that they should be DEMANDING amnesty and love from Uncle Sam. I'll let you borrow Joe's ears so that you can hear from the amnesty group what he does. "Dear Uncle Sam, you hate me and i have no respect for your laws or rules. I love the money that your people give me, and the free services that you pay for. I've been here long enough, you have to give me citizenship now, i have a right to it. Also, i don't care that i broke the law or use your tax dollars." You talk about the contradictory 'keep out' and 'help wanted' signs. Let me clearify these for you. Anyone wishing to illegally enter this country, drain our tax dollars, and not pay for services and infrastructure you use KEEP THE HECK OUT OF AMERICA! Secondly, anyone wishing to do jobs Americans are not willing to do for the wages offered, and are willing to pay for the services and infrastructure you use, pay taxes, and try to not break the law please come here through an orderly process because HELP IS WANTED! Do not overlook facts Sir, do not deny Americans the right of justice that their children have died for, do not deny American tax payers accountable government, do not deny Joe America to the fair process he DOES HAVE THE RIGHT TO as an American citizen. American citizens are guaranteed the rights this country has to offer, immigrants are given those rights. Don't you dare tell Joe that those who broke the law will now enjoy the same privelages that he does as a citizen. A guest worker program is the right step, a fair and efficient immigration process for immigrants is the right step, guarding the border is the right step. I have earned my citizenship, and my parents filled out the necessary paperwork, went through the hassel, and waited a good bit of time to come here legally. You Sir are misinformed, maybe you should spend some time with Joe America; after all he was born and lives in the country that the immigrants want to be in. Thanks for your time. Please don't think that i am angry at you for your article, it is a freedom we have here, whether misinformed or not. I am only irritated that facts are overlooked.

webstormed monkeys return

the monkeys have returned from their mission in Iran. They were partially successful, and while they didn't destroy Iran's weapon's program they did scare Iran into negotiations. They also brought back crucial intel for future covert missions. the webstormed commander salutes the monkeys for going undercover, and bravely returning home. i proudly nominate the this covert team from primate to spymate...salute!

the moment of peace

i was reading an article about an exchange between Israeli and Lebanese soldiers, and was amazed. It was during the actual conflict. An Israeli unit took control of a Lebanese town with a mostly christian population, and the Lebanese outpost there surrendered before any shots were fired. There is a video in which the Israelis are being given tea by the Lebanese, which included a General, and had a cordial conversation. Hezbollah is pissed about it, and the Lebanese General commanding the base has been arrested since Lebanon does not recognize Israel and are forbidden contact with Israelis. Here is the dialogue.

At one point in the video, Daoud and an Israeli soldier have the following exchange, as translated by CNN's Octavia Nasr:

Daoud: "Don't we need to tell our bosses?"

Israeli soldier: "Tell whoever you want."

Daoud: "We need to brief them on what happened."

Israeli soldier: "We briefed (U.S. President) Bush. You brief whoever you want."

Daoud: "We need to brief Bush too."

funnies

it's been a whiles, sorry. I'm in the middle of some important work related things that require my undivided attention. I really don't like that term...'undivided attention.' Shouldn't you just say 'all my attention'? 'Undivided' just seems to be too much to use.

21st birthday

Friday 4 August 2006 was my 21st birthday, and i spent it in style. For starters, i went to the shoppette(a military term for convenience store except a little larger), and purchased a handle, and they didn't even check my ID. I was unsettled by such a thing, and made her check it. That Friday night we had dinner and Hamada Japanese steakhouse, and i reserved our own chef. While it's usually a party of 20 that gets their own chef, my party of 14 was able to get one. Prior to dinner and while they prepared for us, we had drinks at the bar; many a drink were purchased for yours truly. Dinner was fun, laid back, talking, joking, and watching the chef as he did his routine for us. I had a great time, and afterwards we went bar hopping. First was Elllis Island for some Karaoke, but only the old people were singing so we ended up leaving. Second was the Hard Rock Casino, where i won $20 and had more drinks. All and all it was a memorable night, and i spent it with good friends. On my trip to Atlanta a few weeks back, i realized that all of my friends moved away without telling me, not even a phone call or a myspace heads up. So it was good to come home to Vegas and have a good night. Pics are soon to follow.
